Jay Schwartz and his wife Laura live in Towson, Maryland which is a near north suburb of Baltimore.  He is the father of three (Megan, Molly and Michael) and the grandfather of four.

Asked about what he had learned in his career he responded:  “My two best friends are a public relations executive and a career politician so I am well schooled in the art of smoke and mirrors.  Hopefully, as through a glass darkly, there is truth to be found.”

Jay believes in the transformative value of education and, along with his wife Laura, has endowed scholarships at the university, high school and middle school level.  The most recent is the Laura Satterfield Schwartz Scholarship at the Mother Seton Academy (http://www.mothersetonacademy.org/) in Baltimore which is a tuition free school for grades 6 to 8.
